The Measures
In the previous call, nearly 250 applications were received with a total value of almost £9m which ensured our Project Officers were kept busy. 60 of these applications, with a total value of £750,000, have now successfully received Letters of Offer (LoOs), with many more being expected once they have been assessed by our project officers.

3.1 Farm Diversification and 3.2 Business Creation & Development
Under these measures we have given grant assistance to help fund items such as firewood processing machines and shot blasting facilities.

3.3 Tourism Infrastructure and 3.4 Access to Basic Services
These measures will allow us to part fund a vast array of projects ranging from the upgrading of self-catering cottages to the construction of a highly specialised angling vessel.
3.5 Village Renewal and 3.6 Conservation & Heritage
Through these measures we have been able to approve grants for walking, heritage and cultural events as well as memorial restoration.
